The RNLI #fishydishycookery Tweeting Charity Thingumy

We are very big supporters of the RNLI at our house as Misteright loves to sail, which is the reason why I'm posting this. It seems that @chaoskay over at The Brink of Bedlam is going to do something very fishy in her dishy-washer to raise them a few squids.  It's #fishydishycookery you really need to go there and find out what it's all about but I will tell you now it involves a fish, £100 minimum for a brilliant cause in donations and a dishwasher...

You really should support Kay and help prove to the blogosphere that she really isn't all that barmy by donating a few pence, a few pound or whatever you can afford so she can pass it over to the RNLI

The RNLI  is the charity that saves lives at sea. Providing a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service around the coasts of the UK and RoI, what ever the weather and sometimes risking the lives of the voluntary crew. The RNLI rely on more than 40,000 volunteers  who work on lifeboats, at stations, on beaches, and in fundraising. Some crew members and most lifeguards are full time. They work with the other staff to ensure comprehensive safety coverage on the shoreline of the UK and has saved more than 139,000 lives since its foundation in 1824. The RNLI is an independent charity with a board of volunteer trustees. Without donations the RNLI would not be able to continue the amazing work they do.

So get your click on and visit Kay's Just Giving page at
and please give what you can.

That was all.

As an update, including Gift Aid - through FishyDishyCookery and a blogging competition - we all raised £507 for the @RNLI! Not bad for a mad idea on a Friday night on Twitter is it?!! It turned out pretty good! Thanks again for your support1 (hugs) :O) x
